Service Description

Formavide is a browser-based media tool. All processing runs locally in your browser — your files are never uploaded to any server.

Acceptable Use

• You may use Formavide for personal or commercial purposes.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to convert any content you process.
• You may not use Formavide for any illegal activities, including but not limited to copyright infringement.
• You may not use Formavide to access or obtain content you do not have rights to — including ripping streaming services or circumventing their protection technologies. Converting files you legally own for personal use (format-shifting) is permitted; you are solely responsible for complying with copyright law.
• You may not use automated tools to scrape, overload, or attack the service.
• Basic tools (convert, trim, extract audio, add watermark) are free to use without an account. AI features are subject to daily per-tool quotas (see "How does billing work? Is it free?" in our FAQ for current limits). We may adjust these quotas as needed; active paid licenses are not subject to the daily free quotas.

Payments & Refunds

• Paid tiers are one-time payments with no subscription and no auto-renewal: Monthly ($4.99, valid 30 days), Annual ($19.99, valid 1 year) and Lifetime ($49.99 early-bird price — may increase at any time; valid forever), each starting from the date of payment (Lifetime never expires).
• The license is tied to your account and covers Formavide on all platforms — the web version and any desktop app we release — with all features included. Each purchase is a separate one-time license; terms are determined by the tier you buy.
• You may request a full refund from your Orders page — within 7 days of purchase for Monthly, within 30 days for Annual and Lifetime — no reason required. The license is revoked once the refund is processed. Refund requests forming a repeated purchase-and-refund pattern may be declined as abuse.

Copyright & Intellectual Property

Formavide is a tool only. You are solely responsible for respecting copyright laws and intellectual property rights. We do not condone unauthorized conversion of copyrighted material.

Limitation of Liability

Formavide is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our service. Processing quality depends on your browser and device capabilities.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
